DUBAI: Etienne Berchtold, Ambassador of the Republic of Austria to the UAE, emphasised that this year’s World Governments Summit was very important for the Austrian government, because it was represented at the level of the Secretary of State Florian Tursky, who is dealing with digitalisation and AI.
Speaking to the Emirates News Agency (WAM) at the World Governments Summit (WGS) 2024, he expressed hope that the AI MoU signed with Omar bin Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications, on the first day of the World Governments Summit, would yield the desired goals over the coming period.
‘This conference in general brings together a lot of on the economic, political, cultural levels, so it’s very much appreciated, and we’re glad to be part of it,’ he concluded.
