ABU DHABI: The Emirates News Agency (WAM) today received an academic delegation from Beijing Foreign Studies University, led by Vice President Ding Hao, to learn about the agency’s distinguished experience in the field of news and media.
Mohamed Jalal Alrayssi, Director-General of WAM, welcomed the delegation. He presented an overview of WAM’s comprehensive news services, delivered in 19 languages around the clock. Alrayssi underscored the growing connections between WAM and communication universities worldwide.
The delegation commended the quality of WAM’s media content, highlighting its unwavering commitment to professionalism. Moreover, Vice President Hao lauded the Emirates News Agency’s pivotal role in strengthening UAE-China media ties.
Expressing gratitude for the opportunity, the delegation reiterated their keenness to share these insights with Chinese students enrolled at the Beijing Foreign Studies University, particularly those specialising in communication and media arts and sciences.
