UAQ Ruler Hosts Luncheon for Al Labsa Festival Guests


UMM AL QAIWAIN: H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mu’alla, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Umm Al Qaiwain, along with H.H. Sheikh Rashid bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mu’alla, Crown Prince of Umm Al Qaiwain, hosted a luncheon to honor the guests attending the His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Camel Festival and Camel Beauty Pageant, known as ‘Al Labsa 2024-2025’. The event brings together participants and spectators of the festival’s camel races and beauty contests, celebrating the region’s rich cultural traditions.



According to Emirates News Agency, the Ruler of Umm Al Qaiwain extended a warm welcome to the festival’s participants and attendees, which included members of various tribes and followers who had gathered at the Al Labsa racecourse. This annual event is a significant occasion in the cultural calendar, drawing enthusiasts of heritage races from across the nation.



H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla praised the efforts and continuous support of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan in ensuring the successful organization of such heritage festivals. These events, held annually in different parts of the country, play a crucial role in preserving and celebrating the nation’s cultural heritage.
