The Turkish Ministry of Defense announced that 7 militants of the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) were killed in an air strike in the area of Operation “Peace Spring” in northern Syria.
The Turkish defense stated in a statement today that the Turkish forces detected a group of PKK militants while they were preparing to carry out an attack on a Turkish army site by digging a tunnel in the “Peace Spring” area.
It explained that the Turkish forces carried out a successful operation using drones, during which they managed to neutralize 7 militants belonging to the PKK/YPG and its armed wing, and prevented the tunnel from being dugged.
