Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said that the killers of Hamas Political Bureau Chief Ismail Haniyeh “should not forget that they also killed peace by assassinating him.”
Fidan added during an interview with a local TV channel last night: “I once again offer my condolences to the martyr Ismail Haniyeh, and I ask God to grant him a place in heaven, and I offer my condolences to his family, the Palestinian people and the Islamic world.”

The Turkish Foreign Minister stressed that the “warm applause” for Netanyahu during his speech before Congress undoubtedly encouraged him to continue his attacks.
Hamas announced on Wednesday morning that Haniyeh had been killed in a “treacherous Zionist raid” on his residence in Tehran, the day after he participated in the inauguration ceremony of Iranian President-elect Masoud Pezeshk
