The Turkish Minister of Interior, Ali Yerlikaya, announced the killing of 172 people, most of whom were members of the Kurdistan Workers Party and the terrorist ISIS, during the past two months.
The Turkish minister said on his Twitter account today, Thursday, that the security forces carried out 29,032 security operations during the past two months against terrorist organizations, which resulted in killing of 172 terrorists.
He added that 27,783 security operations were carried out against the “PKK”, which resulted in the killing of 148 of them, and 178 security operations against the terrorist organization “ISIS”, which resulted in the killing of 22 of them and the arrest of 77 others.
The Turkish minister indicated that the operations against terrorist organizations resulted in the killing of two members of extremist leftist organizations, whose names were not mentioned, and the implementation of 1020 security operations against the “Gülen” organization accused of the July 2016 coup, which resulted in the arrest of 254 others.
