Trump vows potential rival Harris won’t reach presidency

The Republican presidential candidate, Donald Trump attacked his potential rival, Vice President Kamala Harris, during an election rally in North Carolina, emphasizing that he will not allow her to reach the White House.

This came in a speech Trump delivered late Wednesday at the first campaign rally following President Joe Biden’s withdrawal from the presidential race.

Trump told his supporters, “three days ago we officially defeated the worst president of our country, crooked Joe Biden,” adding “so now have a new victim to defeat, lying Kamala Harris — the most incompetent and far-left Vice President in American history.” Trump described Harris as a “radical left lunatic who will destroy that country,” announcing his intention to proceed with a debate against Harris – his new democratic opponent in the presidential elections scheduled for November 5.

He accused the current administration of failing in all areas, including borders and the withdrawal from Afghanistan, claiming that 21 million illegal imm
igrants entered the US under Biden and Harris.

He also criticized the speech delivered by Biden on Wednesday, his first from the White House since announcing his withdrawal from the presidential race.

Trump said via his social network (Truth Social) that the speech was bad and incomprehensible, and that President Biden and his Vice President Harris were “a great embarrassment” to the US.

Trump’s statements came after Harris announced at her first campaign rally in Wisconsin that she was ready to have a debate with the Republican candidate.
