Baghdad – Western media announced this evening, Thursday, that the Israeli army destroyed an observation tower of the Lebanese army in Ras Al -Naqura (Western Strip, southern Lebanon), after targeting a direct shell.
It stated that ” Al -Labuna region – the abscess of the town of Naqoura, is exposed to artillery shelling by the Israeli occupation forces.”
The fire was caught in large areas at the southern Lebanese border today, due to the “phosphorous shelling and the optical shells” delivered by the Israeli army, while the army’s vehicles worked to put out the fires.
While the Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament, Nabih Berri, said that the fires south of the country resulting from the internationally forbidden white phosphorous shells launched by the Israeli army are to draw the international community.
The border has been witnessing for more than two weeks, an intermittent exchange of fire between the Israeli army on the one hand, and “Hezbollah” and Palestinian factions on the other hand, after the war launched by Israel on the Gaza Strip in response to “Al -Aqsa Flood” operation launched by the Hamas movement on October 7.
