The activities of the West Asian Athletics Championships in its fifth edition, qualifying for the 2024 Paris Olympics, were launched at the Sports City Stadium in Basra, this Wednesday evening, in the presence of the Minister of Youth and Sports, Dr. Ahmed Al-Mubarqa.
Thirteen teams will participate in the tournament representing (Iraq, Palestine, Syria, Lebanon, Yemen, Iran, Oman, Jordan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, UAE, Bahrain)
