The US State Department condemned the incident of burning the Qur’an outside a mosque in Sweden.
“Burning religious texts is harmful and shows disrespect,” the ministry said in a statement.
It is mentioned that a young man tore up a Qur’an and set it on fire at the Stockholm Central Mosque today, Wednesday, on the first day of Eid al-Adha.
