The Turkish Mod Announces The Killing Of Three PKK Militants In Northern Iraq

The Turkish Ministry of Defense announced that three PKK militants were killed in armed clashes in northern Iraq.

The Turkish Defense Ministry said in a statement today, Wednesday, that one of the Turkish army units stationed in Al-Zab region in northern Iraq, in charge of operations claw lock, was attacked by a group of PKK militants, and after armed clashes in which light and medium weapons were used, three Kurdish militants were killed.

The Turkish army carried out a large-scale military operation on April 18 of last year, and it is still ongoing, dubbed Claw Lock, against the strongholds of the PKK in the regions of Matina, Zab, Afshin and Bazian in northern Iraq.
