The Presidential Council – the Supreme Commander – discusses with the Chief of Staff the repercussions of the closure of the Sharara oil field.

Tripoli: The Presidential Council – the Supreme Commander of the Libyan Army – met this morning, Sunday, in the capital, Tripoli, with the General Staff of the Libyan Army.

The media office of the Presidential Council reported that the meeting was held to discuss developments in the military and security situation in the western region, and the repercussions of the closure of the Sharara oil field and the resulting security instability in the region in general.
