President of the Republic Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid stressed, today, Thursday, the necessity of paying serious attention to addressing the shortcomings and problems suffered by Muthanna Governorate in a manner that provides all the needs of citizens.
A presidential statement stated that the President of the Republic met, today, Thursday, in the Muthanna Governorate building, Governor Muhannad Al-Attabi, Chairman of the Provincial Council Ahmed Mohsen Al-Daryoul, and a number of members of the House of Representatives, members of the Provincial Council, and security leaders in it.
During the meeting, according to the statement, the general conditions in the governorate and ways to enhance security and economic stability were discussed, as the President of the Republic indicated the necessity of making efforts to improve the economic reality of the governorate by supporting investment and benefiting from the mineral and oil wealth present in the Samawah desert and developing and growing agriculture and livesto

Rashid also stressed the need to pay serious attention to addressing the shortcomings and problems that Muthanna suffers from in a manner that provides all the needs of citizens, especially those related to the economic situation, poverty and unemployment, and in a way that contributes to improving the standard of living for all, providing job opportunities and attracting investments.
The President of the Republic said: “Iraq is experiencing a state of political and security stability,” stressing the importance of benefiting from this stability in developing the necessary services for citizens and achieving comprehensive development in the country, stressing: “Some people convey a bad image of the situation in Iraq through the media or some parties, and we have worked to convey a bright image of the situation in Iraq during visits and participation in international conferences.”
The President of the Republic explained, according to the statement, that the Presidency of the Republic formed a committee t
hat includes representatives of the Presidency of the Republic, the Ministries of Interior and Justice, the Supreme Judicial Council and the National Security Chencellry, which held several meetings and its work resulted in the release of more than (12,000) detainees and prisoners whose sentences have expired or were cancelled by the Court of Cassation, stressing that the Presidency of the Republic has also submitted a number of important draft laws to the Council of Representatives and is working on “Approval in the future”.
The President listened to a detailed explanation from senior government officials and security leaders in the province regarding the procedures and plans followed to consolidate security and stability in it. He also learned about the needs of Muthanna Governorate and its service reality through explanations from members of the House of Representatives for the province.

epublic, expressing their thanks for his interest in the conditions of the province and its citizens, stressing at the same time that they will not spare any effort to improve its reality at various levels.
