The Gaza Strip announced that the number of journalist martyrs in the Strip has risen to 174 as a result of the ongoing Zionist aggression since October 7, 2023, after the martyrdom of journalist Wafaa Al-Adini.
The government media office in the Strip said in a statement today, Monday: ‘The number of journalist martyrs has risen to 174 journalists since the beginning of the war of genocide on the Gaza Strip.’
It explained that this comes “after the assassination of colleague Wafaa Ali Al-Adini, who worked as a journalist with several English-language media outlets,” condemning “in the strongest terms the targeting, killing and assassination of Palestinian journalists by the Israeli occupation ”
The office also held the occupation “fully responsible for committing this heinous crime”, and called on “the international community, international organizations, and those related to journalistic work in the world to deter the occupation and prosecute it in international courts for its ongoing crimes “.
