The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Government of National Unity congratulated Algeria on its election as a non-permanent member of the United Nations Security Council for the period 2024-2025.
In a statement Thursday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its confidence that Algeria will be the best representative and defender of Arab and African causes.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed that it looks forward to working and coordinating with Algeria through the Permanent Mission of Libya in New York, in a way that enhances the maintenance of international peace and security.
