The Minister of Health, Dr. Salih Al-Hasnawi, received the French Ambassador to Iraq, Eric Chevalier, today, Wednesday, in the presence of a representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and a number of officials in the Ministry.
During the meeting, according to the Ministry’s statement, they discussed ways to enhance cooperation in rehabilitating the infrastructure of the Sinjar district hospital project in Nineveh Governorate, and developing the research center in Nineveh, in addition to cooperation with French research centers and drug-producing companies in the pharmaceutical, scientific and health field, as well as the transfer of French technology and expertise in this field to Sinjar Hospital and Nasiriyah Heart Hospital in Dhi Qar.
During the meeting, the Minister appreciated the support of the French side for the Ministry of Health and Cooperation to support health institutions in Iraq.
