Today, Tuesday, during its session in its headquarters in the city of Benghazi, the House of Representatives approved the road map emanating from the Committee (6 + 6) to prepare electoral laws.
The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Counselor Aqeela Saleh, said it was decided to adopt the road map, noting that the House of Representatives has the inherent competence to grant confidence to the government exclusively.
Ageela added that whoever runs for prime minister is required to obtain the recommendation of 15 members of the House of Representatives and 10 of the State Council.
And he continued that confidence is given to the government on the basis of its program, including its method of work, and the conditions for choosing the prime minister are determined, and the term of his government ends within the specified period.
The Speaker of the House of Representatives confirmed that the government will be miniature, to be chosen by the Prime Minister, taking into account the geographical regions.
Aqeela Saleh added that these observations are referred to the 6 + 6 committee to try to bridge the views and return them to the House of Representatives until the final adoption.
