The Coordination Framework Calls On The Political Forces To Move Away From The Convulsive Rhetoric Regarding Kirkuk

The coordination framework called on all political forces to move away from convulsive rhetoric and work to calm down and support the security services in Kirkuk.

The coordination framework stated in a statement, “We are following with great interest the developments of events in Kirkuk governorate, from demonstrations and protests and the accompanying acts of violence, which led to the death and injury of a number of citizens, and a number of private properties were subjected to burning and destruction.”

It stressed that “violence and escalation of the situation is not a solution between the parties and components in the city, and we express our support for all governmental measures instructed by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces to control the security situation and stability in the province,” calling on all political forces to “stay away from the convulsive rhetoric and work to calm down and support the security services in carrying out their duties in preserving public and private property, stressing that the stability of Kirkuk governorate is everyone’s responsibility.
