The Babylon Police Command announced today, Tuesday, the arrest of a gang specialized in theft of motorcycles, in flagrante delicto, in the north of the province.
Brigadier General Adel Al-Husseini, Brigadier General Adel Al-Husseini, Media Director of Babylon Police, said, “Detachments from the Al-Mashrou’ and Al-Mahaweel divisions for combating crime were able, with a tight security ambush, to arrest a gang of four individuals and caught them red-handed while they were carrying out one of their thefts in Al-Mahaweel district, north of the province.
He added, that the gang members confessed during the investigation of several thefts, so that their confession statements were written down and they were arrested in order to complete the legal procedures. / End
