The Arab Parliament condemns the statements of the Minister of the occupation entity to build a Jewish synagogue in the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, describing them as dangerous and provocative

The Arab Parliament strongly condemned the statements of the extremist Minister of the occupation entity Itamar Ben Gvir, in which he called for the construction of a Jewish synagogue in the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, describing these statements as provocative and dangerous and posing a direct threat to the historical and legal status quo in the city of Al-Quds and the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The Arab Parliament stressed in a statement that these statements come within the framework of ongoing attempts by the occupation entity to change the Arab character of Al-Quds and undermine the rights of the Palestinian people, warning of their dire consequences for peace and stability efforts in the region, and the failure of efforts to reach a ceasefire in Gaza.

The Arab Parliament called on the international community and international institutions to urgently intervene to stop these practices and statements that would fuel the conflict and increase tension in the region, and to pressure the government of the occupyi
ng entity to stop these violations, demanding the necessity of providing international protection for the Palestinian people and their sanctities, and reaching a just, permanent and comprehensive solution to the Palestinian issue that guarantees the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with Al-Quds as its capital.
