Supreme Committee explores linking MoI’s criminal system platform with judicial authorities, public prosecutions, courts

ABU DHABI: The sixth workshop of the Supreme Committee for the Development of Judicial Electronic Systems convened to deliberate on advancements in integrating the Ministry of Interior’s criminal systems platform with the nation’s judicial bodies.

Inaugurated by Abdullah Abdul Jabbar Al Majid, Advisor to the Minister of Justice, the workshop spanned two days in Abu Dhabi.

During the initial session, participants deliberated on novel services and brainstormed strategies aligning with the UAE government’s drive to streamline administrative processes, diminish bureaucratic hurdles, and eliminate redundant requisites.

Emphasis was laid on upholding service quality and precision to align with the objectives of the UAE Centennial 2071 and imbue patriotic values encapsulated in the “We are the Emirates” vision.

The subsequent day featured updates on the rollout of initial services from the third phase and a comprehensive review of forthcoming services in the same phase. Discussions covered connectivity challenge
s and various pioneering technical projects within the committee’s purview, underscoring achievements geared towards bolstering smart, innovative, and high-calibre services through enhanced interagency collaboration, thus advancing the UAE government’s vision.

Major General Dr. Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi, Inspector-General of the Ministry of Interior and Chairman of the Supreme Committee, underscored the concerted efforts of committee stakeholders towards augmenting governmental services’ efficiency, quality, and adaptability in line with the leadership’s vision and governmental directives.

He hailed the project’s significance in facilitating technical collaboration among the Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Justice, and executive entities, including judicial bodies and federal and local prosecutions.

Outcomes include a transformative enhancement in Emirati citizens’ quality of life, streamlined customer procedures, and a paradigm shift in governmental processes, positioning the UAE as a global leader in compe
titiveness benchmarks.
