Sharjah Ladies Club welcomes summer with fun,creative camps


In line with its ongoing efforts to provide a safe educational environment and develop children’s skills through a variety of programmes and activities, Sharjah Ladies Club and its eight branches in the Central and Eastern regions are gearing up to launch a series of summer camps. These camps will run from1st July to 29th August.

The club is organising four summer camps featuring a range of recreational, educational, art and craft activities, including workshops for cup making, face painting, pottery, cooking, and calligraphy, as well as sports activities like Zumba, swimming, ice skating, tennis, and more.

The camps cater to different age groups, including Little Hands Art Camp (ages 3-5), Summer Wonderland Camp (ages 6-8), Colour Me Happy (ages 6-8), and the Teens Glowing Summer (ages 11-16).

The camps will be held at Collage Talent Centre and the Sports Complex of the main headquarters, as well as other club facilities.

In this regard, Ala Al Shanasi, stated that the annual summer camps aim to enhance
children’s knowledge, social, and personal skills, support their creative talents, and fill their summer holiday time with useful activities through workshops and courses that teach them new life skills.

She added that the camps are a wonderful opportunity to meet new friends and discover hidden talents. She stressed that the club and its branches follow the highest level of security and safety standards to ensure the safety and comfort of participants.

Moza Al Ketbi, Al Mudam Branch Manager, emphasised that the club offers these camps to make the most of the summer holiday in a way that benefits children, in an environment that ensures their safety and encourages learning and growth.
