One person died and six others were injured in a traffic accident west of Hilla, the center of Babylon Governorate, today, Friday.
Babylon Traffic Information Director, Brigadier General Zahir Muhammad, said: “A vehicle coming from Karbala towards Babylon overturned in the Abu Gharq district, west of Hilla. The accident led to the death of the car driver and the injury of six others, including three children.”
He added: “The wounded were transferred to Al-Hilla Surgical Hospital, and the police opened an investigation into the incident.”
