Prince Zeid Bin Al Hussein 93rd Mechanized Brigade conducts Al Waad Al Haq drill

The Prince Zeid Bin Al Hussein 93rd Mechanized Brigade, one of the Southern Military Zone Commands, carried out on Wednesday a military drill (Al Waad Al Haq) in the presence of the Inspector General of the Armed Forces and the zone commander.

The Inspector General was briefed by the commanders of the drill on its proceedings and measures taken to implement it in order to reach the highest levels of efficiency and combat readiness of the brigade.

The drill, which was based on hypotheses that simulate scenarios that can be encountered in the current operational environment, included planning and decision-making procedures by commanders and staff, testing telecommunications devices used in the zone’s formations and units, in addition to implementing several logistical dilemmas.

The drill aimed to test the operational readiness of the participating commanders at all levels, in addition to planning and executing defensive operations at the brigade level, as well as cooperation and coordination between all bran
ches participating in the exercise and supporting the brigade.

The drill also aims to raise the level of efficiency and readiness of the members of the participating units in order to enhance their ability and effectiveness to meet operational requirements and face all future threats, as part of the training programs implemented by the General Command of the Jordan Armed Forces (JAF) – Arab Army to test its formations and units.
