Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani said that we look forward to a new phase of cooperation with the United Nations in Iraq that will begin at the end of 2025.
The Prime Minister added: Iraq’s selection to chair the Group of 77 and China for the year 2025 is a victory for productive Iraqi diplomacy that seeks to achieve development goals.
The Prime Minister explained: During our presidency of the largest international group with 134 member states, we look forward to working towards a more stable and just world that interacts and provides development opportunities for all peoples of the world.
The Prime Minister stressed: Our policy places Iraq, its people, security, sovereignty and prosperity first, and we move with full confidence to erase the effects of the past, including wars, dictatorship and terrorism.
The Prime Minister concluded: We are proceeding with the reconstruction of Iraq and placing it in the regional and international position it deserves.
