Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani stressed that the current government’s priorities are five: providing job opportunities, improving services, fighting poverty, combating corruption, and implementing economic reforms.
The Prime Minister explained: The Iraqi government seeks to rehabilitate the necessary human resources and has achieved extensive steps in building state institutions and imposing the rule of law.
The Prime Minister continued: The government seeks to activate the role of the private sector, address administrative flabbiness, diversify sources of income, reform the banking and financial sector, manage the transformation in the energy sector, and address the causes of social and economic unrest, and thus political.
The Prime Minister stressed: The dual challenge facing Iraq is excessive reliance on oil revenues and limiting its ability to diversify the economy.
The Prime Minister said: Governance, combating corruption, achieving digital transformation, and e-government are among our top
priorities.
