The Prime Minister of the National Unity Government, Abdul Hamid Al-Dbaiba, received today, Thursday, in the Prime Minister’s Office, the American Special Envoy to Libya, Ambassador Richard Noland.
Dbaiba confirmed to the American envoy the position of the national unity government in support of holding elections and ending the transitional stages directly, without any parallel paths in order to achieve the will of the Libyan people.
The head of the National Unity Government also confirmed that the participation of the National Unity Government in the planned meetings, which are being coordinated by the UN envoy to Libya, Abdullah Batili, comes with the aim of creating a fair constitutional legal basis that will enable elections to be held.
The meeting also discussed Derna city reconstruction file and the challenges facing the actual launch of the project’s implementation.
