Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani directed to extend the entry visa of Lebanese citizens present in Iraq.
A statement by the Prime Minister’s media office said that in view of the difficult circumstances experienced by the brotherly Lebanese people, who have been subjected to criminal Zionist aggression for days, and in solidarity and support from Iraq, government and people, with the brothers in Lebanon, the Prime Minister, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Mohammed Shia al-Sudani directed the following:
1- Extending the entry visa for Lebanese citizens present in Iraq without the need to travel for a period of thirty days, and extending it again, based on the provisions of the Foreigners’ Residence Law No. (76 of 2017), due to the war conditions that Lebanon is going through.
2- Exempting Lebanese citizens who are currently in violation from the penalties stipulated in the above law.
3- Continuing to grant free entry visas to Lebanese citizens arriving at Iraqi border crossings.
