Diyala Police forces carried out a night security exercise to impose the rule of law in Baqubah.
Colonel Haitham Al-Shammari, the media Spokesman for the Diyala Police Command, told the correspondent of the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA): “Joint forces from the Diyala Emergency and Law Preservation Brigades carried out a night security exercise within the Sector of Responsibility in Baqubah, searching for wanted persons and imposing the rule of law.”
He added: “The security operation included a security deployment with foot and stationary patrols, searching some areas in search of wanted persons, and enforcing the law with the aim of enhancing security and societal peace.”
