Al-Qaim Border Crossing Directorate was able to arrest an Iraqi traveler in his possession (20,700,000) twenty million and seven hundred thousand dinars of (counterfeited) Iraqi currency, of twenty-five thousand type.
The Ports Authority said in a statement, “The seizure process was carried out by a joint officer detachment from Al-Qaim Customs Center, the Research and Investigation Department, and Al-Qaim Customs Police Station.
He added, “A formal arrest report was organized, and the accused and the seized items were referred to Al-Qaim Customs Police Station to take the appropriate legal measures.”
