Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Tarek El Molla met, on Tuesday 11-July-2023, executive vice president of Caterpillar Inc. Tom Pellette and his accompanying delegation to discuss prospects of boosting cooperation with the company.
The meeting tackled ways of capitalizing on the eco-friendly solutions and techniques of the world’s leading manufacturer of construction and mining equipment, in line with the state’s strategy to reduce the carbon emissions caused by oil and gas activities.
Molla highlighted the multiple investment opportunities of Egypt’s petroleum sector, as well partnerships with international mega firms carrying out mega projects and investments plans.
He added that engaging into investment activities with Egypt’s oil and gas sector represents a gateway for the international firms to reach to the Middle East and its promising opportunities.
Meanwhile, Pellette hailed partnership with Egypt’s oil and gas sector as trusted, adding that his company is looking forward to promoting its operation in Egypt.
