March in downtown Amman denouncing Israeli aggression on Gaza

Amman: Following today’s Friday prayer in front of Al-Husseini mosque in downtown Amman, popular and youth groups participated in a march to demonstrate their opposition to the ongoing war of famine and annihilation as well as the heinous Israeli aggression directed towards the Gaza Strip.

Raising slogans against the Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people in Gaza, the marchers requested Arab and international action to put pressure on the occupying power to end the war on Gaza.

They also blasted the international community’s double standards toward the Palestinian issue.

On many levels, they valued Jordan’s firm and brave stance in favor of the Palestinian people, their just cause, leadership, government, and populace. Of particular note was the great efforts made by His Majesty King Abdullah II to halt the aggression against Gaza and provide the Strip with timely and adequate aid.
