Libyan Ambassador to Turkey discusses obstacles facing Libyans residing in Turkey.Tourism min: Spanish market important for tourism in Egypt

Libyan Ambassador to Turkey, Mostafa Al-Qalib, discussed with a number of Libyan community residing in Turkey, problems and difficulties facing Libyans in Turkey at all levels, including difficulties of obtaining and renewing residency, studying, treatment, judicial files, and deportation.

This came during a meeting held in the presence of the Consul General at the Consulate General in Istanbul, Salah Al-Kasih, the Director of the Immigration and Expatriate Affairs Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Muhammad Al-Maaloul, his deputy, Omar Al-Ghannai, and a number of embassy and consulate employees.

Libyan Embassy in Ankara stated that members of the community agreed to hold a meeting during next week without the presence of Libyan mission to discuss mechanisms and steps that must be taken to elect a new committee for the community or give another opportunity for the previously elected committee

Egyptian Tourism and Antiquities Minister Ahmed Eissa underlined the importance of the Spanish market for tourism in Egypt.He highlighted that Spain is one of key tourism markets for Egypt.He made the remarks on the fringe of the 44th edition of the International Tourism Trade Fair (FITUR 2024) organized by IFEMA MADRID.

The minister toured the Egyptian pavilion in the fair where he met with exhibitors, reviewing the latest developments in the tourism sector in Egypt, especially the promotion campaigns in this domain.

During the meeting, he underlined the key role played by the private sector in boosting tourism industry in Egypt and encouraging tourists’ flow to Egypt.
