Libya participates in an African meeting to discuss strategies to enhance social development.

Tripoli: A delegation from the Ministry of Social Affairs of the Government of National Unity participated in the fifth regular session of the Technical Committee for Social Development, Labor and Clients held in the Ethiopian capital, Addis Ababa, which is dedicated to discussing strategies to enhance social development, labor and ethical employment.

According to a statement by the ministry today, Sunday, the Libyan delegation, headed by both Undersecretary of Development Ibrahim Kashira and the social expert at the ministry Ali Faraj, participated in the meetings attended by more than 300 experts from various member states of the African Union.

This session was titled “Social Agenda 2063: Strengthening Social and Solidarity Economy Ecosystems”, and the discussions focused on topics related to the African Union’s policies in the field of social and solidarity economy and other topics related to social development.
