Kuwait Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Salem Abdullah Al-Jaber Al-Sabah met Monday his Greek counterpart George Gerapetritis on the sidelines of the 27th session of the Joint Ministerial Council between the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and the EU in Muscat.
During the meeting, the two ministers discussed the current happenings in the region mainly the repercussions of the ruling issued by Iraq’s court on Khor Abdullah, and the latest events in the occupied Palestinian territories and the Gaza Strip.
They also discussed international efforts and political endeavors to maintain the region’s stability and security.
In addition, the two sides dealt with deep-rooted ties between Kuwait and Greece, and frameworks of developing them in all fields, especially commerce, investment, development and tourism.
