Kuwait consul in Dubai hails Al-Sharif’s leading of Arab child parliament

Kuwait’s Consul General in Dubai and the Northern Emirates Ambassador Ali Al-Thaidi expressed Saturday pride as Kuwaiti Jenan Al-Sharif presided over the fourth session of the Arab child parliament.

Speaking to KUNA, Al-Thaidi said this step shows Kuwait’s commitment to backing youth and enabling them to be pioneers in building a better future of international and Arab societies.

He expressed deep appreciation for valuable efforts made by the Kuwaiti delegation led by Al-Sharif.

He also extolled the role of Sharjah and its Ruler Sheikh Dr. Sultan Al-Qasimi in supporting youth and education initiatives in the region.

The consul affirmed that Sheikh Al-Qasimi is empowering youth and encouraging them to effectively participate in social and cultural action.

During the session, the conferees discussed societal responsibility and MP’s key role in raising awareness about the needs of Arab children, and offering initiatives required for sustainable development and social justice.

Fifty-four children from 16 Ar
ab countries took part in the session and spoke about their experiments and views on how to enhance the role of MP in boosting social rights and duties of children.
