Amman: Chairperson of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF) and Center (KHCC), Her Highness Princess Ghida Talal, on Thursday signed an agreement with Supervisor General of King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), Abdullah Al-Rabeeah, to pay treatment expenses for cancer patients from Gaza at the KHCC.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Princess Ghida expressed pride in the “strategic” partnership with KSrelief, valuing their humanitarian efforts in supporting cancer patients over the years.
Meanwhile, Al-Rabeeah highlighted the “strong” cooperation between KSrelief and KHCF, emphasizing Saudi Arabia’s commitment to providing humanitarian aid globally.
Al-Rabeeah also lauded KSrelief’s volunteer medical teams for delivering “top-notch” therapeutic and surgical services to alleviate the suffering of people in need.
Additionally, he noted KSrelief’s contributions to hospitals and health facilities, including providing the latest equipment, health supplies, and expertise to combat diseas
es and epidemics.
The partnership between KHCF and KSrelief began in 2018, thanks to KSrelief’s support to pay costs of treating 195 cancer patients, including Syrian refugees and Yemeni patients.
