Amman: Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi and the UK’s Foreign Secretary David Lammy Sunday held telephone calls on ties and cooperation.
Safadi and Lammy discussed a ceasefire in Gaza to protect civilians and reduce regional tensions.
The top diplomats agreed to hold “detailed” discussions in the next few days.
Safadi congratulated Lammy on becoming the UK’s foreign secretary.
