Jordanian Youth Showcase Innovations at Entrepreneurship Forum


Amman: The 9th National Forum for Young Entrepreneurs concluded activities on Thursday, focusing on empowering youth to develop entrepreneurial ideas into projects that address local and global challenges.

The forum was organized by the Ministry of Youth in collaboration with the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, the Ministry of Environment, the University of Jordan Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center, and UNICEF.

Addressing the closing ceremony, Minister of Youth, Mohammad Nabulsi, said the forum aimed to align with the National Youth Strategy’s goals for economic empowerment, noting its role in fostering economic modernization and providing a youth platform to showcase their “innovative” solutions and engage with supportive networks.

Meanwhile, Hussein Jbour, Secretary-General of the Ministry, emphasized the “pivotal” role of young entrepreneurs in leveraging technology to offer solutions to diverse challenges.

The forum featured presentations of 22 pilot projects selected out of 145
applications meeting the competition criteria.

Osama Murad’s “aqua refile,” focusing on filtered water refilling machines, secured first place, followed by the Wasel project, which streamlines water and gas management through smart applications. The “Rfeed” project, converting organic waste into protein for chicken feed, clinched the third spot.
