Amman: The Royal Film Commission of Jordan has announced the call for submissions for the third edition of the Jordan Children’s Film Festival, set to take place in August in Amman.
In a press release issued Monday, the Commission revealed that the deadline for film entries is July 18. Submissions are free of charge and can be made via the following link: Jordan Children’s Film Festival – FilmFreeway.
Eligible films must have been produced no earlier than 2022 and must not have been broadcast or screened on any television channel or made available on the public Internet. Submissions should be in digital format, specifically MOV or MP4, and must meet high-quality standards. Additionally, films should be suitable for audiences aged 6 to 16.
The selection committee will review all entries, ensuring they adhere to intellectual property rights. Non-Arabic language films must include Arabic subtitles or be available for dubbing or simultaneous translation into Arabic.
The festival will showcase a diverse range
of feature-length and short animated films.
