The Head of the Europe Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Haidar Mansour Al-Athari, met with the Czech Ambassador to Baghdad, Peter Stepanek, today.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement, “during the meeting, ways to develop bilateral relations between the two countries, and the visit, were discussed.
The expected visit of the Czech Foreign Minister to Iraq, his meeting with officials, as well as the participation of Czech businessmen during the visit and their meeting with their Iraqi business counterparts to discuss joint cooperation in the private sectors and review investment opportunities in both countries, and the two sides discussed a number of issues of common interest.
