International Migration: The Coast Guard has returned 7,292 migrants to Libya since the beginning of the year.

The International Organization for Migration announced today, Monday, that 601 migrants were intercepted at sea, from June 25 to July 1, and returned to Libya by the Coast Guard forces.

In its weekly report, the organization said that the year 2023 witnessed, since its inception, the return of 7,292 migrants to Libyan territory, while 780 migrants drowned and 944 others went missing.
