ABU DHABI: The Integrated Transport Centre (Abu Dhabi Mobility) of the Department of Municipalities and Transport has released its service schedule for the upcoming New Year Holiday, outlining the operations of various services including Customer Happiness Centres, surface parking, Darb toll gates, public buses, and Driver and Vehicle Licencing services. The holiday will be observed on Wednesday, January 1, 2025.
According to Emirates News Agency, the Customer Happiness Centres will be closed on the holiday, with operations resuming on Thursday, January 2, 2025. However, Abu Dhabi Mobility has ensured that customers can still access services online via the Abu Dhabi Mobility website, Darbi and Darb platforms, as well as through the ‘TAMM’ digital government services platform. For continuous support, customers may contact the unified Service Support Centre at 800850 or the Taxi Call Centre at 600535353.
The announcement also included that MAWAQiF surface parking fees will be waived on the holiday, resuming at 8:00 am the following day. Additionally, parking fees at the Musaffah M-18 truck parking lot will be suspended during the official holiday. Drivers are advised to park in designated areas and avoid prohibited zones to ensure smooth traffic flow.
In terms of toll services, the Darb toll gate system will be free on Wednesday, with fees reinstated during peak hours on Thursday. Public bus services will adhere to the weekend and holiday schedule, with additional trips planned for regional and intercity routes.
