Injaz, PMIEF sign cooperation agreement on youth empowerment

Injaz, a local non-profit organization in the Kingdom and Project Management Institute Educational Foundation (PMIEF), on Monday signed a strategic cooperation agreement, aimed to enhancing Jordan’s youth capabilities in the project management field. The agreement targets 200,000 school students, and empowers 200 teachers and 3,800 volunteers from INJAZ with project management skills to transfer related knowledge to the younger generation, according to a Injaz statement. The three-year agreement features steps to review and assess 13 of Injaz programs targeting school students, in addition to examining PMIEF’s programs and integrating their concepts within Injaz initiatives to contribute to empowering and enhancing beneficiaries’ capabilities in this field. This partnership aims to achieve the two institutions’ current goals and exchange expertise and expanding know-how in project management fields at the Kingdom’s level, to enable youth to become active in their communities and gain “important” experiences to realize a better future, the statement said. Injaz programs seek to enhance beneficiaries’ entrepreneurial mindset and launch and develop their startups and companies, the statement said. Its initiatives also aim to enhance beneficiaries’ basic skills in project management areas and promote their leadership potentials to achieve their projects’ goals within a time plan, face challenges and find appropriate solutions.
