IDSC signs cooperation protocol with UAE’s TRENDS

The Cabinet’s Information and Decision Support Center (IDSC) signed Wednesday a cooperation protocol with UAE’s TRENDS Research and Advisory Center to promote ways of scientific, research and academic cooperation between the two sides in fields and issues of mutual concern and expanding the database, in addition to benefiting from scientific and research experiences.

Assistant to the Prime Minister and IDSC Chairman Osama el Gohary asserted during the signing that the protocol was the fruit of existing cooperation between the two centers over the past two years through the convocation of joint activities and joint research contributions in publications.

Gohary said the center is now seeking to exchange ideas with the world community in all issues.

The protocol calls for preparing a set of research papers and important studies, he added.

He underscored the importance of cooperating with TRENDS as one of the largest thought centers in UAE.

The protocol is laying down more vistas of cooperation in conducting researches in fields of joint interest or exchanging experts and researchers between the two sides, he added.
