Amman: During a session held Sunday, headed by its Speaker Ahmed Safadi, Lower House continued deliberations over the draft general budget law for the fiscal year 2024.
During the session, which was attended by Prime Minister Bisher Khasawneh and Cabinet members, lawmakers continued to give their responses to the 2024 draft budget and House Finance Committee’s fiscal recommendations.
In today’s debate, 7 MPs spoke and each lawmaker was given 10 minutes to comment, while speakers on behalf of parliamentary blocs are granted 20 minutes, according to a House statement.
