Historic co-operation protocol inked by ministries, NACDW on ‘Decent Life’ villages


The Egyptian ministries of social solidarity, education and technical education and local development and the National Alliance for Civil Development Work (NACDW) have signed a historic co-operation protocol that aims to establish and operate a number of family and childhood development centers in the villages of the presidential initiative ‘Decent Life’.

The co-operation protocol reflects the state’s keenness to promote the social care and childhood system.

It represents a quantum leap in the comprehensive care designated to children and families by combined efforts of state institutions, the business community and NGOs to ensure the provision of adequate services contributing to building more successful generations.

This protocol aims to provide a safe and stimulating environment for children through ensuring premium quality educational, social, psychological, and recreational services that meet their needs in their different life stages.

The deal is meant to empower families by offering consultations a
nd training to enhance their abilities to raise and care for their children.

It also seeks reinforcing community development by involving the local community in the management and operation of child and family care centers, along with building effective partnerships between various state sectors.
