Health and Population Minister Khaled Abdel Ghaffar had talks with a delegation of the Turkish Transplantation Society on boosting bilateral cooperation and exchanging expertise in the field of organ transplantation.
Abdel Ghaffar pointed out that he discussed with members of the Turkish Association ways to exchange experiences between specialists in all medical specialties, especially critical and urgent care, and nursing. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar pointed out that the Health ministry is to participate in scientific research, train doctors, build capabilities, and develop unified strategies and organized frameworks, along with setting time plans to start work.
Abdel Ghaffar added that he proposed that an Egyptian association specialized in organ transplantation established along the lines of the Turkish association’s model, in a way that will benefit the citizen’s health and save many lives.
