The Secretary-General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres, confirmed today, Friday, that “even wars have rules and international humanitarian law must be respected and civilians protected.”
Guterres said in a press statement: “The situation in Gaza has deteriorated to an unprecedented, dangerous level, and a humanitarian corridor must be opened to deliver aid to the people of the Gaza Strip.”
