FM co-chairs with his Kuwaiti counterpart joint committee meetings

Minister of Foreign affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty co-chaired with his Kuwaiti counterpart Abdullah Al Yahya the 13th meetings of the joint committee.

Foreign Ministry spokesman Tamim Khallaf said Abdelatty reiterated Egypt’s support of Kuwait and all measures taken to put into effect Kuwait 2035 vision.

He also expressed keenness on enhancing joint cooperation to boost Gulf security as it is an integral part of Egypt’s national security.

Abdelatty also expressed Egypt’s keenness on holding Egyptian-Kuwaiti investment forum in the last quarter of 2024 and on holding periodical consultative mechanisms between the two countries.

The top diplomat expounded Egypt’s economic program in light of the investment incentives and privileges offered to investors under the new investment law to enhance investment atmosphere in the country.

He said Egypt attaches greater importance to ironing out hurdles facing Kuwaiti investors in Egypt, hoping that Kuwaiti investments in the country will
be increased.

Abdelatty expressed Egypt’s confidence in the attention attached by Kuwait to facilitate the residence of Egyptian nationals in Kuwait.

Ten memos of understanding in the tourism, housing, information, youths, sports, planning, industrial exports development and environment protection domains were signed at the end of the joint committee meetings.
